With nearly two decades of experience across marketing, tech and fashion, David Schlesinger has provided marketing and growth strategies for countless businesses. His most notable work has been that of the remarkable growth of skinnytees, a now multi-million dollar company of which he was the co-creator and partner. Through David's guidance, skinnytees - a modern apparel company based in Detroit specializing in seamless basics, has grown to earn a Best In Category product on QVC, and garnered celebrity and media attention from the likes of Britney Spears, Good Morning America, and People magazine.
A native of West Bloomfield, a suburb of Detroit, David graduated Michigan State University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in social sciences. After emigrating to Los Angeles he launched his marketing career in the local music scene doing A&R for Arista Records under Clive Davis.
Transitioning to the digital space, David helped pioneer affiliate marketing, domain speculation, white-hat email marketing, media buying and analysis. Building on expertise in brand licensing and transmedia marketing from his time in entertainment, Corner 12 is able to provide its clients with a unique vision and creative runway.
Through what now seems a serendipitous meeting with LA based artist Josh Mayhem, David has been inspired to switch directions evolving his hobby of 20+ years and marketing venture, Corner 12, into an artist collective and digital agency.
